While Grant2green was discussing an application for GUDP concerning a major challenge of RAS aquaculture discharge with one client, Grant2green was appoached by another client, Alumichem, looking to GUDP for funding concerning another major challenge of aquaculture discharge. Following consultations with the clients and GUDP, it was assessed that merging the two into a GUDP superproject application would yield optimal winning chances despite a very significant total budget. The assessment was correct and GUDP awarded the grant in recognition of the technical and market synergies of the companies involved.
